MEDIA RELEASE: Tioga County Public Health 2024 Team Member of the Fourth Quarter

Last Updated: 1/22/2025

Tioga County Public Health 2024 Team Member of the Fourth Quarter

Congratulations to Jason Davis for being named the 2024 Team Member of the Fourth Quarter for Tioga County Public Health!

This is Jason’s second time being selected Team Member of the Quarter since he joined Tioga County Public Health in 2019. Starting under the title of Confidential Assistant, Jason quickly became an important asset to the team and was promoted to Assistant Director of Administrative Services in 2023.

Jason has many important roles. He assists our Director of Administrative Services in overseeing the department’s budget and manages many other fiscal related matters. He recently led a Strategic Planning Group dedicated to increasing accessibility by leveraging technology to provide greater access to public health services/programs online. Jason and his team selected an online payment program and got it up and running so that we can now accept online payments.

As a true team player, Jason is always willing to help out in other areas of the department. For instance, Jason took on the difficult project of navigating the new Early Intervention Hub application. He worked with the rest of the Early Intervention team to brainstorm and implement necessary preparations for the transition. When difficulties arose, our team was able to persevere because of all the efforts that were put forth ahead of time.

Jason is known for being approachable, always friendly, and professional with a twist of humor! He is very knowledgeable and is the “go to” person for many in Public Health, regardless of the situation.
